Horizon Beach Resort, is an award-winning hotel for a number of years, by tourist stakeholders, 4 stars hotel complex. The hotel is ideally located, in front of one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Kos and it spreads over an area of 150,000 sq.m. The complex includes a main building and 45 bungalows, surrounded by impressive green gardens full of palm trees. Designed with the highest standards and specifications, Horizon Beach Resort is a luxurious paradise on the island of Kos, offering elegance and comfort. The hotel complex implemented renovation of the existing facilities and expansion with new buildings. We participated in the project by offering integrated lighting solutions as well as socketing equipment, specialized equipment for control of the entrance but also of the cooling and heating of the hotel, while worthy of particular reference are the own-constructions of the luminaires designed with accuracy and efficiency. The constant presence in the project throughout the phase of building activity and the warm cooperation with the Studionoh design team, yielded impressive results.

As the hotel complex is located in an environment with high levels of briny and with constant exposure to solar radiation, the materials are worn out and their elements are altered rapidly and dramatically. Therefore, one of the biggest challenges was the correct choice of materials related to the exterior area, based on their resistance to the particular conditions. Major challenges were the self-constructions, which required detailed design and precision in the implementation but also the delivery times, which were very limited because there was a need to supply large volumes of materials in a short length of time.
The beauty of the island but also the unique view of the hotel, created the conditions for the creation of an impressively enlightened external environment with minimal aesthetics bollards. The sense of luxury that the interiors of Horizon Beach Resort exude, inspired the design team, in creating bespoke constructions and in laying of luminaires that blend harmoniously into the space, giving a sense of balance, comfort and serenity.
