It is extremely rare for a whole product family to emerge from just one good design idea. But the designer Klaus Nolting has managed just that with slat, creating an impressive range of wall, ceiling, bollard and movable luminaires that all stand for distinctive, consistent design.

Slat is a lighting tool for many different applications, as it adapts elegantly to the specific lighting situation. Specifically, it has two fully variable, by 240° independently rotating wallwashers, which create the uplight-downlight effect while they operate as wallwashers providing homogeneous lighting.

Slat moves not just on the wall, it also generates quite brilliant light as a ceiling luminaire.

Slat spike adds a movable ground spike to the product family. The light blade rotates through 240 degrees, generating a uniform, diffuse light effect and creating unique pools of light or unusual path lighting. Available in anthracite, deep black and cool brown.
