The lecture «THE RESPONSIVE LAYER – The Invisible Dialogue Between Architecture, Light & Automation»

The lecture “THE RESPONSIVE LAYER – The Invisible Dialogue Between Architecture, Light & Automation” took place on October 15, marking the opening of the HUB in Heraklion, Crete, in collaboration with the Heraklion Association of Architects (SANI).

The event explored the intersection of architectural lighting and contemporary building automation systems, highlighting how architecture, light and technology work together to shape intelligent, human-centred built environments.

The keynote speakers were Professor Lampros Doulos and Professor Katerina Skalkou, with the discussion moderated by Christina Moudara, Lighting Design Manager at HUB, and Thanasis Papapostolou, Supervisor of Building Technologies Engineer.

The experience created by well-designed lighting goes far beyond the product itself. It is a matter of design, technology and expertise. #Livethelightingexperience
