“The Contribution of Architecture to the Quality of Buildings (1986–2026)”
HUB Lighting & Innovation by KAFKAS had the distinct honor of participating as Lighting Sponsor in the 40th anniversary event of Ktirio magazine, held at the Athens Concert Hall, under the theme: “The Contribution of Architecture to the Quality of Buildings (1986–2026).”
Set within an atmosphere of creative dialogue, inspiration, and meaningful exchange of ideas, the event highlighted the work, values, and enduring contribution of Greek architecture to the shaping of the contemporary built environment. Over the course of three days, more than 1,400 architects, consultants, and professionals from the construction industry gathered in an important meeting dedicated to quality, sustainability, and the future of architecture in Greece.
As Lighting Sponsor of the event, HUB Lighting & Innovation by KAFKAS actively supported this significant initiative that celebrates architectural creativity while strengthening the dialogue around the role of lighting, technology, and spatial experience in contemporary design. We strongly believe that light is an integral part of architectural composition, profoundly influencing spatial perception, atmosphere, and the human experience within the built environment.
Throughout the event, architectural projects and design approaches that have shaped Greek architecture over the past decades were presented, while the accompanying architectural exhibition offered visitors the opportunity to explore the philosophy, creative identity, and architectural footprint of some of the country’s most influential architectural practices.
This anniversary gathering became not only a tribute to architectural creation, but also a reminder of the importance of collaboration between architects, designers, technical consultants, and companies that share a common vision for more meaningful, sustainable, and human-centered spaces.
