The HUB Lighting & Innovation by Kafkas team participated for the first time in The Architect Show on December 10–11, presenting a compelling presence across two exhibition stands with a strong concept that captured the audience’s attention.
Specifically, the concept explored the way lighting decodes architecture. Using Morse code in a highly thoughtful manner, the team created a playful dialogue between lighting and architectural design. The exhibition stands were framed by ARKOSLIGHT, while the architectural design was represented through one of the most iconic elements recognizable in a drawing: the scale. The word formed by the lights using Morse code was “LIGHT”.
The connection between lighting and architecture, as well as the interactive engagement of the visitors, offered a miniature reflection of the possibilities the HUB provides. At the same time, visitors were offered a glimpse of the HUB’s diverse spaces through audiovisual installations and a composition of small screens adorning one of the exhibition walls.
The Architect Show provided a unique opportunity for the HUB to introduce itself to a wide audience of architecture professionals and beyond. Visitors had the chance to learn more about the HUB and the possibilities it offers. We hope this first encounter with the public will serve as a springboard for new and creative collaborations.
