The main objectives of the proposal were the insurance of adequate lighting, the visual comfort of the user, the reduction of energy consumption of the building, while the location and type of lighting fixtures formed the design identity of the project. In addition to diffused or targeted lighting that combines the basic needs of the space, lighting applications have been implemented that have decorative value and reduce a common office space in the context of visual experimentation.
minimal aesthetics, high efficiency
The proper lighting of a business and office space is a major factor for the productivity, health and well-being of the employees. While the human factor lies at the heart of the lighting design, the aim is for the artificial lighting of the structured environment to satisfy lighting requirements with energy-efficient solutions. The challenge is to achieve a dual objective for the design: the creation of a sustainable lighting system based on the recommendations of the relevant standards and the creation of a pleasant and aesthetically pleasing environment.
The high quality of lighting achieved comes from the selection of the appropriate individual lighting solutions while following a single aesthetic principle. Professional office spaces vary—they can be distinguished into reception areas, employee offices, meeting rooms, etc.—and are differentiated by adopting different lighting designs. the approach of the proposal takes into account the requirements for the users’ visual tasks, the intention to create a comfortable and pleasant environment, as well as the optimization of the lighting energy consumption.
