The IALNA Boutique Hotel is housed in an old manor at the core of the iconic castle of Ioannina. The construction of the building took place in the 19th century, while in 2020 it was completely renovated with respect to the history of the place and the building itself.
The materials that already prevailed in the building since its construction were stone, iron and wood. These materials were preserved, while the lighting design carried out had as its main axis their highlighting.
The main requirement in the design and in the selection of the luminaires as well was the configuration of a timeless environment, in which the balance between the traditional and the modern element is maintained.
