Agapi Beach Resort is a hotel in Heraklion, Crete. The lighting proposal for both the interior and the outdoor was an interesting challenge.
The highlighting of the architectural elements of the entrance, as well as the upgrading of the overall image of the outdoor space were key requirements on which the final proposal was “built”.
The harmonization of the lighting with natural materials, such as wood and stone, and with the planting was a main objective, which was achieved by selecting the appropriate lighting fixtures and color temperature respectively. The result was the creation of an environment that exudes intimacy and warmth to the end user of the hotel, making their stay ideal.

Regarding the interior space and specifically the rooms, the main concern of the design was to create a pleasant and at the same time functional environment.
Lighting played a key role in this. In particular, the use of cove lighting at key points in combination with general lighting enabled the creation of different scenarios, giving flexibility. Finally, luminaires, such as reading lights, with beautiful finishes enhanced the aesthetics of the space and upgraded the rooms even further.
